The Community Living Network (CLN) is designed to
assist adults with developmental disabilities
to explore and secure living arrangements
within the Calgary region. CLN provides
community living support that provides
people with choices and helps build the communitys' capacity to include
people with developmental disabilities.
The Process
Following acceptance into the program, a highly personalized process
identifies individual community living goals and areas
where support may be required. CLN then uses this information to
seek out several living situations and presents different options
to the applicant. Once the applicant determines where he/she prefers
to live, CLN staff work alongside the applicant to locate any needed
resources, including funding.
Cost
Funding of each person's support is determined on an individualized basis dependent upon support requirements.
