Who Cares Alberta Campaign
The Alberta Council of Disability Services (ACDS) have joined a coalition of community organizations to bring public awareness to the crisis being experienced by our organizations. The coalition launched the "Who Cares Alberta" campaign on August 29, 2007, and it will run until at least February 2008. There are a number of actions that can be taken. We encourage you personally, and your organization to rally behind the "Who Cares Alberta" Campaign!

CRN is currently looking for caring individuals to provide respite to families who have a child with a developmental disability.
DDRC recognizes the critical importance of families with a child with a developmental disability having access to support to maintain health and wellness. One form of support is providing respite. Respite is a break or time away for parents or guardians; the main purpose is to provide relief for the family while offering a positive and rewarding experience for the child. The program provides support, promotes family health and wellness, and helps children to remain with their families and in their communities.
Please get the word out and get in touch. If you, or someone you know, is interested in making a difference in others' lives by being a respite provider, please give us a call, or help us by kindly passing on the message.
